1. Most Bang for Your Buck! I can’t do justice to the immense benefits of iodine. It is admirable, superior, amazing, unbelievable, and fantastic. It can’t easily be described with adjectives. Instead, I shall recommend a couple of books. The book  “The Iodine Crisis”  by  Lynne Farrow  is a fabulous resource for anyone interested in iodine. This book cannot be recommended highly enough! Lynne Farrow is a whistleblower. Her own experience with breast cancer led to the discovery that someone had stolen a medicine with proven benefits reaching back 15,000 years. A medicine that not only helped her but has helped millions. She currently serves as the Director of  Breast  Cancer  Choices, Inc . , a nonprofit organization dedicated to scrutinizing the evidence for breast cancer procedures and treatments. Lynne is the editor of  IodineResearch.com , where she has compiled materials for both beginning and advanced iodine investigators. Visit Lynne's webs...

Bromide Toxicity: A Killer in Our Midst

Image
Bromide is all around us  and is found in many different forms, including salts with other cationic species. It also produces strong acids like hydrobromic acid (HBr), or weaker hypobromous acid (HOBr). These substances usually have very soluble properties that allow them to mix well and easily enter the solution from their surroundings. Presence of Bromine   The  bromide toxins  in seawater are generally found at lower concentrations than the chloride, but still exceed average values by quite a bit. Some places have higher levels between 65 mg/l - 80 mg /L, making for an exciting chemistry experiment when mixed with water. Bromine is found in most waters, but it can be extremely high or low depending on how much salt is used to make the water. For example, bromides are often present at low concentrations when coming from desalinated sources like cities that use frozen chloride ponds for their supply instead of natural rainfall. The typical daily dietary intak...
